To halt the advance of the "Dragon Lords," the Empyrean Lords poured all of their remaining power into raising a "Bulwark." Through Zikel's desperate resistance, and at the cost of their own extinction, they succeeded. Yet this Bulwark, raised atop the sacrifice of so many souls, proved only a temporary measure, and the world beyond the Bulwark's protection remained under the Balaur's dominion. As a fragment carrying AION's will, you must ascend through the memories left by the beings of the Eternal Dream and gain the power to restore Atreia.
