Aion 2 Krao Cave: entry, bosses and rewards

TL;DR
- Krao Cave is the first Expedition. The story sends you there at level 22, and that also starts your Odyle Energy.
- It is tier 1. Conquest lists Rupture weapons and Berk accessories, item level 54.
- Three bosses: the final boss Ultimate Berk, plus Enhanced Harcon and Neglected Gadioton.
- Exploration costs 20 Odyle Energy and Conquest 40. Conquest Normal's guaranteed reward fills after 14 cubes.
- Creators use it on alts: low item level, unbound Kina and Wrathful Mind for crafting.
Entry
Light players reach Krao Cave through Quest: Precious Minerals and Dark players through Quest: Disturbed Balance. Both are level 22 story quests. Grobs explains that this is also the point where your Odyle Energy starts recharging.

Conquest Normal needs level 45 and item level 700, the number Aragon also gives for alts. Hard asks for level 99, which no character can reach yet, so it stays closed for now. The Expeditions guide explains modes, energy and the guaranteed reward, and the Krao Cave map shows the Conquest layout.
Bosses
The game describes Krao Cave as rich in Krao, a mineral that repels external forces. The Lepharists built Berk here during the Last War, then sealed the cave when Berk went berserk.

Each boss you defeat adds its rewards to the cube.
Rewards by difficulty
These are recorded possible rewards. The data gives no drop chances, so only the condensed cube reward is guaranteed.

Exploration
The cube lists Red Agate armor (Epic, item level 25, needs level 22) and Frontline gear (Rare, item level 20). Anders says to clear the dungeon for the story but leave the cube closed while you level. The energy is worth more in Conquest at level 45.
Creator tip
Do not collect the reward from these exploration dungeons when you're starting the game. Opening that reward costs Odyle Energy, and you want to save the energy for conquest dungeons at level 45.
Conquest
All three Normal bosses list the Rupture weapons, the Berk accessories, the Division set (Epic, item level 40), Amplify Stone Fragments and a Soul Codex. Package rewards include Sealed Black Fragment Wings, Artwork: Krao, Wrathful Mind and Balaur's Essence.
Hard adds Black Fragment Wing Featherdown (Bound) and Thick Balaur Scale, Leather and Horn.

Gear Change Vouchers
Vouchers go into Substance Morph. The weapon chest swaps a Rupture weapon for another class's.

Creator advice
Krao Cave is where creators start their alts. FRESHY levels one to three alts to 22 and stops right before Krao Cave, which opens the Expedition menu and starts each alt's own energy.
Creator tip
Level each of them to level 22, stopping at the point in the main story quest right before Krao Cave. It takes roughly 1 hour per alt to reach this point.
Grobs runs Krao Cave or Draupnir on alts that cannot yet reach 1,400 item level for tier 2. Aragon does the same for the materials: Conquest cubes list Wrathful Mind and Balaur's Essence, which his main needs for crafting. Conquest Kina is also not bound, so Anders sees alt runs as a way to send Kina to your main.
Anders also warns against skipping tier 1 on your main.
Creator tip
Remember, item level requirements are going to be higher on global, so you can't skip the one-star dungeons like some of us did in Korea. You'll need Krao Cave and Draupnir to build up your item level before you move on to the two stars.
Grobs and FRESHY take a different route on their mains. They build item level from side content and go straight to Vakron Sky Island at tier 2.
Achievements
The first Exploration clear gives the title Krao Cave Sightseer and the first Conquest Normal clear gives Krao Cave Tour Guide. Further clears pay Enhance Stones and Kina (Bound).
