Aion 2 field bosses: where to find them, timers and rewards

TL;DR
- Field bosses are named bosses in the open world. The game data has 24 Unique Field Boss kill titles for each faction.
- The in-game map shows where and when they spawn. Grobs finds them under the map's Exploration tab, Field Boss.
- Drops include gear, Pantheon artwork and crafting materials. Anders and Grobs both say your loot chance rises with the damage you deal.
- Your first kill of each boss earns a title. In the data, those achievements also pay Kina and a Superior Manastone or Amplify Stone Fragments.
- The Corpus timers page tracks Watcher Kaira in the Abyss and the main scheduled events.
What field bosses are
Field bosses are big named monsters out in the world. Anyone nearby can join the fight. Anders says most players take them on in a group and split anything that drops.
The data records 24 "Unique Field Boss" titles per faction. Four of them exist on both sides: High Commander Lagta, Silent Dartan, Soul Ruler Kashapa and a Gartua variant (Eternal Gartua for Elyos, Immortal Gartua for Asmodians). The other 20 are faction-specific. Anders gave the same count when describing the Korean version.

Finding spawns
You do not need a third-party tool for the open-world bosses. Grobs shows where the game lists them:
Creator tip
If you open your map, then you go to exploration, field boss. It will show us where and when all those field bosses spawn.
Creators have quoted respawn times from the Korean version, and those do not carry over to global, so we leave them out. Use the in-game map for each boss.
The Corpus timers page covers the scheduled events that do not sit on that map. It includes Watcher Kaira, a boss in Chaotic Lower Reshanta in the Abyss, plus Artifact Siege, the Spacetime Rift, the Shugo Festival, Dimensional Invasion and the daily and weekly ticket resets. Its times come from community trackers checked on 3 October 2026, not from our own observation, so treat them as a reference and confirm in game.
Rewards
Grobs and Anders agree that loot depends on how much you contribute.
Creator tip
Well, first, their drops are pretty good. They drop gear, paintings, and materials, and your chances go up the more damage you deal.
High Commander Lagta's loot list shows the usual mix: his own armor and accessory set, an artwork for your Pantheon, a loot chest, Lesser Manastones and refining stones for crafting.

Artisan's Refining StoneCrafting material
Anders says boss paintings do not drop outright and are crafted from materials the bosses drop. Lagta's loot list in the data does include the artwork itself, but it does not give drop chances, so the crafting route he describes may still be the usual one.
The gear sits at a low item level for endgame, so most players will care more about the artwork, the materials and the first-kill rewards.
Titles and achievements
Each field boss has a kill achievement. Anders points out that titles carry stats just for owning them, so they add up as you collect more.

And titles in ION 2 carry stats for simply owning them.

Are they worth your time?
Grobs treats the open-world bosses as optional. Go when one spawns while you are online, but do not plan your day around them.
Creator tip
Especially the PvE bosses are not super mandatory. If you are online and you see that one of those bosses is spawning, just go there, try to participate, but it's not like you have to set a time off for those bosses.
The first kill of each boss is the exception. It pays once, and the title stays.
