Aion 2 Gladiator Daevanion guide: skill nodes on each board
NCSOFT / AION 2 official Steam screenshots
TL;DR
- Skill points stop at rank 10. Each of the first four boards adds one more rank to every Gladiator base active skill.
- For the PvE build, the skill nodes that matter most are Overhead Slam and Rending Blow, then Ruinous Blow and Sword Aura Rampage.
- The passive nodes to look for are Experienced Counterstrike, Attack Preparation, Impact Hit and Murderous Burst.
- The Gladiator guides we used do not rank the big orange stat nodes, so this page lists what each board offers instead of picking for you.
How the boards work for Gladiator
Gladiator has five Daevanion boards:
| Board | Unlocks at level | Crystals | Orange nodes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nezekan | 12 | Daevanion | 2 Combat Speed, 2 Cooldown Reduction, 1.5% each |
| Zikel | 20 | Daevanion | 2 Damage Boost, 2 Damage Tolerance |
| Vaizel | 30 | Daevanion | 2 Critical Damage Boost, 2 Critical Damage Tolerance |
| Triniel | 40 | Daevanion | 3 Multi-Hit Chance, 3 Multi-Hit Resist |
| Azphel | 45 | Battle | PvP stats |
| Node colour | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Orange | Big stat node | 4 |
| Blue | +1 rank to an active skill | 3 |
| Green | Raises a passive skill | 2 |
| White | Small stat | 1 |
Every one of the first four boards has a node for each of Gladiator's twelve base active skills, so the boards add four ranks in total.
Creator tip
You can level all your skills with these skill points only to level 10. After what you will actually need to get the Daevanion boards to level your skills.
Skill points 10 plus four board ranks reaches 14. Madsin explains that the rank 16 specialties and the third slot at rank 20 need more: Arcana cards, or skill levels rolled on weapon and ring soulbinds. He also notes that Gladiator pushes only about three skills that high and puts its remaining skill levels into passives.
The nodes on each board
The numbered nodes below follow the priorities in the Gladiator PvE build: Grobs's rank 16 skills first, then his four passives. The order is ours, built from his skill priorities; he does not give a node path. The planner finds the route between the nodes for you. Open any board in the Daevanion planner to plan a route within your crystal budget.

Other nodes
The boards also carry nodes for Blood Absorption on Nezekan, Vaizel and Triniel. aLuckyRO's beginner build treats it as a key passive for tanking, so take those nodes if you want more sustain. Keen Strike has a node on every board, but Grobs stops using it after level 45, so it can wait.
