Aion 2 Market and trading: listings, fees, Quna Exchange and binding
NCSOFT / AION 2 official Steam screenshots
TL;DR
- As of 4 October 2026, buying or selling on the Market needs the Special Quai Membership ($14.99 for 30 days). So do personal trades and the Quna Exchange.
- You can list up to 10 items at a time. Listing costs a registration fee that is not refunded if you cancel, and Aragon reports a 10% tax on sales.
- Only unbound items and unbound Kina can be traded. Bound Kina and bound items stay on the character.
- Market prices are set by players and differ between servers.
- A trust level limits how much a new or low-activity account can buy and collect each day. It exists to keep bots off the Market.
What needs the membership
As of 4 October 2026, the official membership notice lists these trading benefits:
| Feature | Without membership | With membership |
|---|---|---|
| Market | Cannot list or buy | Can list and buy |
| Personal Trade | Unavailable | 5 trades a day; the other player also needs the membership |
| Quna Exchange | Unavailable | Kina and Quna exchange between players |
| Remote Storage | Only at Storage NPCs | From anywhere |
The membership costs $14.99 for 30 days and covers every character on the server where you bought it. Grobs's advice is to treat Aion 2 as a subscription game if you plan to play seriously, because the Market is how most players buy materials.
Creator tip
Because without the membership, you cannot use the player market. That means you cannot buy or sell items to other players.
Listing an item
- Open the Market and go to the listing tab.
- Double-click the item in your bag.
- Set the quantity, enter a price on the keypad and check the total.
- The game pays you when the item sells. You can have 10 listings at a time.
| Cost | When | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Registration fee | When you list | Not refunded if you cancel |
| Sales tax | When it sells | 10%, as Aragon reports |
The listing window shows the current rates, so check there.
Creator tip
But you do have a little bit of a registration fee, and there will be a 10% tax.
Each server has its own Market and prices, according to Aragon, so a price you see in a guide may not hold on your server. He finds prices lower early in the morning and higher later in the day. The official notice also lists a World Market as a membership benefit, but does not say which items it covers.
What can be traded
Items show their binding in the tooltip. Anything marked Bound cannot be listed, and the same applies to money.
Tradeable or not
Gear made by succession crafting is Soul Bound to the character who crafts it, so it cannot be sold; the crafting guide explains succession.
The Quna Exchange
The Exchange swaps Kina and Quna between players. The official monetization notice says every exchange happens between players and the game makes no listings or purchases.
- A seller morphs Kina into a Kina Chest with Substance Morph.
- The seller lists the chest for Quna.
- A buyer pays Quna and opens the chest for Kina.
Creator tip
You're always buying it from another player. So, one player farms Kina, places it on the exchange, and another player then can buy this Kina with Quna.
| Limit | Rule |
|---|---|
| Listings | Up to 10 at a time, with a minimum sale price in Quna |
| Purchases | A daily limit based on the total Kina in the chests you buy |
| New Quna | Can be Pending Quna for up to 72 hours. It cannot be used on the Market, the Exchange or for customization until the hold ends |
The trust level
Global adds a trust level, shown next to your Kina in the top left. The game's tooltip says it controls your Kina purchase limit on the Exchange, your daily settlement limit on the Market and how Pending Quna is distributed when you buy Quna. If a sale goes over your settlement limit, only part of the payment is settled until the limit refreshes.
Creator tip
It's a system to prevent bots from using the market.
TheWhelps expects it to work like Lost Ark's version, where playing the game and using Kina raises your level. The game does not publish the thresholds.
Moving Kina between your own characters
You do not need the Market for this. TheWhelps puts unbound Kina into server storage on one character and takes it out on another. Bound Kina cannot be stored, and the game's server transfer rules note that storage, the mailbox and Market contents do not move with a character to another server.
Creator tip
The bound kina cannot be stored in the storage.
