Aion 2 wings guide: where to get them and which to equip

TL;DR
- Every pair of wings has two sets of stats: an equipped effect while you wear them, and an owned effect you keep once you have them. Collecting more wings makes you stronger even if you never wear them.
- New wings arrive as an item. Use it, then equip the wings in the Wings menu.
- Conquest Expeditions drop sealed wings, which you turn into a pair with Substance Morph and 10 Radiant Odyle.
- Madsin chases Forest Spirit Wings from Vakron Sky Island in Season 1 and Talisra Wings from the Season Shop at endgame.
- Wings can't be enhanced on global yet. Pick them for their effects as they are.
How wings work
You get your first wings and flight from the Ascension quest in Poeta or Ishalgen. The quest Quest: The Power in the Lake (Elyos) or Quest: The Being Beneath the Lake (Asmodians) gives Lesser Daeva Wings and opens the Wings menu, where you see every pair and the ones you own.
Creator tip
Wings have to actually be equipped once you get them. You get them in your bag as an item.
Each pair has an equipped effect and an owned effect. You only get one pair's equipped effect at a time, but the owned effects of every pair you have all apply. Owning 25 pairs also earns the title Dominator of Dimensions, covered in the achievements and titles guide.
Creator tip
Wings also have been confirmed to not have the enhancement system tied to them, so that's something that will likely come in the future as an update.
The global client also has wing enhancement switched off. Guides from Korea that rank wings by their enhanced stats don't apply yet.
Where wings come from
Conquest Expeditions
Each Conquest Expedition drops one kind of sealed wings. Use Substance Morph to turn them into the finished pair, with 10 Radiant Odyle on top. Our data lists each sealed wing item on the dungeon's Normal difficulty.
Anders noticed this change on the global test. In Korea, Conquest runs dropped Wing Featherdown that you saved up for a guaranteed craft. On global the wings themselves have a drop chance. You can get lucky on your first clear, but there is no guaranteed end to the grind.

Seventy Sealed Wing Featherdown plus 10 Pure Odyle make either Glorious Wings or Sealing Wings, once per character.

Which wings to equip
Madsin's Season 1 target is Forest Spirit Wings, and his endgame target is Talisra.
Creator tip
These being borderline mandatory for every class thanks to their unique cool down reduction stat on top of a large helping of accuracy and attack.
Kanon's list of wings that exist on global adds Nightmare, Blue Wave and Ultimate Daeva. Here are the equipped effects of the PvE picks:

Their owned effects are smaller. Forest Spirit, for example, keeps 1% Damage Tolerance, 30 Boss Attack and 20 Accuracy Bonus once you own it. Each pair's page lists both effects.
Since owned effects stack, it pays to pick up every pair you reasonably can, even ones you won't wear.
Saving flight time
Early on you have little flight time. SywoGG's trick, after binding sprint, fly up and open wings to comfortable keys:
- Fly up and forward.
- Dash, then close your wings straight after so the dash carries you.
- Open your wings and repeat.
Because you keep flying upward, you lose little height.
