How to Fish trick achievements: Noob and 360
Dazed Games
Noob needs a ranged kill with no other kill-score bonus. For 360 no scope, finish a recognized spin and land the killing shot without aiming. The flying-boat and seagull achievements have separate checks, so an impressive-looking stunt is not enough unless it satisfies the right one.
Quick trigger lookup
| Achievement | What the game checks | Common mix-up |
|---|---|---|
| Noob | A ranged kill reaches the fallback with no earlier bonuses. | A headshot, point-blank shot or recent kill chain adds a bonus. |
| 360 no scope | A recent recognized spin plus the no-scope check on the kill. | A spin followed by a delayed or aimed shot. |
| I'm the bird now | The visual boat reaches a world height of at least 10. | Boat speed or a small bounce alone. |
| Everyone's dream | A seagull kill attributed to the explosive player. | Albatross is a different creature. |
| Let me go | A seagull picks up your own dead-player body. | Watching it carry a fish or another player's body. |
These conditions come from the achievement and combat logic. The full checklist covers the other 23 achievements.
Set up a plain kill for Noob
Choose an ordinary, non-endangered creature and weaken it with your own earlier hit. Stand on land with the target also near the ground. Stay more than two units away and well inside longshot distance, then make an aimed body-shot kill with ammunition still left in the magazine.
That setup reduces several unwanted bonuses. It does not remove the need to check the actual score result. A fish in the air, a hit beyond its head threshold or a killing shot from the last bullet can still add one.
| Bonus to avoid | Adjustment |
|---|---|
| Quick scope | Remain aimed for more than half a second before the killing shot. |
| No scope | Keep aiming through the shot. |
| 360 | Wait more than a second after a spin. |
| Multikill | Leave more than three seconds since the previous kill. |
| Point blank or Longshot | Use moderate distance, outside two units and inside 25. |
| One shot one kill | Weaken the creature first rather than killing it from full health. |
| Last bullet | Reload before the setup if the kill would empty the magazine. |
| Endangered | Choose a creature without that flag. |
Avoid a long spray of attacks while trying to make the final kill, because the Finally bonus has an attack-duration condition. Check the complete bonus table if the result names a bonus you did not expect.
Noob itself appears as a 1.01x fallback in this build. The achievement is checking the absence of the earlier bonuses, not requiring a displayed final multiplier of exactly 1.00.
Keep the 360 and shot close together
The detector requires at least 320 degrees of accumulated camera yaw, with a short turning-pause allowance. Its recognized-spin flag lasts one second. For a practical attempt, make a continuous full turn, reacquire the creature and fire the killing shot promptly.
Do not aim during that shot. If you were aiming first, at least a quarter-second must have passed since leaving aim for the no-scope condition. A clean spin followed by a long pause or a scoped shot misses the combined requirement.
Use a target you have already weakened so the shot can actually finish it. This is a setup suggestion from the timing checks; it does not claim every visual 360 will be recognized regardless of timing or input.
Get the boat high enough
I'm the bird now checks the visual boat's world height. The threshold is 10, not ten units above whatever surface you launched from. A better motor does not directly trigger the achievement.
Explosions apply force to the boat, which explains the explosive-launch approach. The resulting height depends on placement and physics. There is no verified fixed stick count or launch angle in this guide. If using that approach, prepare an expendable attempt and move out of the blast rather than relying on friendly fire being disabled.
The boat upgrade guide covers motor achievements. The dynamite guide explains the explosion rules and self-damage change.
Use a seagull for Everyone's dream
Target a regular Seagull with Dynamite and make the blast lethal. The explosion must be associated with a player for the achievement award. Igniting or triggering your own explosive gives the game a player to credit, but a blast that misses the bird will not establish a kill.
Albatross is a main boss with its own achievement. Killing it with Dynamite is not a substitute for the seagull condition. Similarly, killing another flying fish does not meet the bird check.
Let me go requires your dead body
Let me go is awarded when a seagull picks up the dead-player body belonging to the local player. Being carried while alive is not the check, and another player's corpse does not count for you.
If attempting this deliberately, use a place where a seagull can reach the body and put valuable carried equipment aside first. The source confirms the pickup condition, not a guaranteed wait time or a fixed location where the bird must choose your body.
