Aion 2 Ranger Daevanion guide: nodes to take first
NCSOFT / AION 2 official Steam screenshots
TL;DR
- Each board has a few orange nodes worth 4 points. Take the offensive ones first: Combat Speed on Nezekan, Damage Boost on Zikel, Critical Damage Boost on Vaizel and Multi-Hit Chance on Triniel.
- On the way, take the skill nodes for Deadshot, Gale Arrow, Snipe and Drill Dart. Each board adds one rank.
- Then the passive nodes for Focused Eye and Hunter's Resolve, then plain offensive stats.
- Leave defensive orange nodes for later. You will fill most of each board eventually, so the order matters more than the final shape.
How the boards work for Ranger
Ranger has five Daevanion boards:
| Board | Unlocks at level | Crystals | Orange nodes to take first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nezekan | 12 | Daevanion | Combat Speed, Cooldown Reduction |
| Zikel | 20 | Daevanion | Damage Boost |
| Vaizel | 30 | Daevanion | Critical Damage Boost |
| Triniel | 40 | Daevanion | Multi-Hit Chance |
| Azphel | 45 | Battle | PvP stats |
| Node colour | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Orange | Big stat node | 4 |
| Blue | +1 rank to an active skill | 3 |
| Green | Raises a passive skill | 2 |
| White | Small stat | 1 |
Every one of the first four boards has a node for each of Ranger's twelve base active skills. Skill points stop at rank 10, so these nodes are a large part of how Deadshot and Gale Arrow reach 20. The Ranger PvE build explains which ranks you need.
Creator tip
The general rule is important orange nodes first, then blue nodes for active skills, then green nodes for important passive skills, then white nodes for offensive PvE stats.
The numbered nodes on each board below follow that order. The planner finds the path between them for you. Open any board in the Daevanion planner to plan a route within your crystal budget.

After the priority nodes
TheWhelps's order once the numbered nodes are done:
- The remaining skill nodes and offensive stats such as Attack and Critical Hit.
- Defense.
- HP.
- Critical Hit Resist.
- Route around MP nodes where you can. They add little for Ranger.
Creator tip
Resetting the board is really cheap. Don't stress about the board. It's a really simple system.
