CorpusAion 2

Overview

A ranged, mobile damage dealer with no positioning rules. Its damage runs through one charged shot, Deadshot, wrapped in three self-buffs. Most creators call it easy to pick up but slow to start on bosses, since it relies on critical hits that come with gear.

In the game's words

The Ranger is capable of executing powerful long-range attacks using a bow. Their ability to engage from a distance enables them to maintain a broad view of the battlefield and quickly adapt to any changes.

What makes the Ranger tick

Keystone skill

A charge shot that deals 35% more damage while Marking Shot's Precision is up. Snipe's rank-12 Specialty shortens its cooldown on every hit.

The rule

Charge Deadshot fully and fire it yourself. Never put it in a macro.

  2. Marking Shot
  3. Gale Arrow
  4. Fully charged Deadshot
  5. Hold Snipe and the macro together

Self-buffs in the macro?

Press them yourself, so they are not wasted on trash or a boss that vanishes

Put them in the macro so they never fall off

What opens

Ranger priorities

Arcana: Deadshot and Gale Arrow on the Compass and Chalice, Snipe and Tempest Shot on the Parchment, Hunter's Resolve on the Bell, Focused Eye on the Mirror.

Arcana main stats: Time on the Chalice, Life on the Parchment, Death or Freedom on the Compass, Destruction on the Bell, Wisdom on the Mirror.

Rank 20 is 10 from points, 4 from boards, 2 from rings and 4 from Arcana. Rings carry Deadshot and Gale Arrow first.

Every class

Farm Vakron Sky Island before Urugugu Canyon: every Vakron armor drop is an upgrade, while Urugugu also drops other classes' weapons.

Hold pity selectors and Exploration chests until you know your last missing piece.

Fill all five Arcana slots as soon as Transcendence opens. For now, card grade matters more than which skills a card carries.

Party finders ask for Combat Power well above the minimum, so form your own group with a tank and a healer.

Item Level adds up from
  • Item levelsof what you wear
  • +1per enhancement level
  • +5per Amplify level
  • +1per Daevanion point
  • 1 to 4per Manastone line
  • +3per Rare Theostone

The Amplify, Manastone and Theostone amounts are measured on players' characters.

Stat nodes sit in the same places for every class. Each Active skill has one node on each of the first four boards; each Passive has two on Nezekan or Zikel and one each on Vaizel and Triniel. Azphel has stat nodes only.

Nezekan: Combat Speed lanes first.

Vaizel: Critical Damage Boost, which pays on a crit class like the Ranger.

Take active skill nodes to rank 12 first, then the offensive corner nodes, then Focused Eye and Hunter's Resolve.

Triniel's Multi-Hit nodes early are disputed; the newest Global build skips them for skill nodes.
