How to Fish: Giant Piranha Skeleton and Island 3

Quick steps

1. 1 Catch and defeat the Giant Piranha

   Use Leech Bait from the three-Leech request to fish for the Giant Piranha. Finish any other active boss encounter first.

2. 2 Collect one Giant Piranha Skeleton

   Pick up the dropped Giant Piranha Skeleton and bring it to the Swamp Daughter on Island 2.

3. 3 Claim the island coordinates

   Hand over the skeleton for her Quest: island-passage request, then take the offered coordinates to add Island 3 to your map.

Which part does the Daughter want?

Bring the Giant Piranha Skeleton dropped by the Giant Piranha. Her request accepts that trophy, so a fish body or a different Piranha catch will not do.

The Daughter calls the creature dinner in her dialogue. That does not change the item you need to hand in. Collect the skeleton and pick it up before returning to her location.

Why is Island 3 still missing?

Defeating the boss does not award the coordinates. Finish the skeleton hand-in and take the reward from the Daughter. Claiming it adds the island location to your map.

If you still have only Leech Bait, you have completed the bait request. The skeleton request is the one that provides passage.

What should you do on Island 3?

The Pufferfish Hunter asks for one accepted endangered creature before offering Carrot. Bowlfish, Needlefish and Seahorse are among the choices. The next walkthrough lists all seven accepted catches and a lure sold on that island.
