Aion 2 global release date, launch time and regions

TL;DR
- Aion 2's global release is 5 October 2026 on Windows PC, through Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher.
- Founder's Pack owners had Advanced Access from 30 September to 4 October.
- NC's schedule opens the servers at 06:00 PDT (13:00 UTC, 15:00 CEST) on 5 October, after 8 hours of launch maintenance.
- Servers are split into five regions: Europe, NA West, NA East, Latin America and Asia.
- Progress from the Korean or Taiwanese versions does not carry over to the global version.
As of 4 October 2026, every date on this page comes from NC's own announcements on Steam and the official AION 2 site. Dates for the Korean and Taiwanese services are a different release and are left out.

NC says maintenance times can change and that it will post any change as an update to the maintenance notice. If the servers are still closed at 13:00 UTC, check that notice first.
Free to play
NC's Launch FAQ says Aion 2 is free to play with an optional monthly membership. Founder's Packs were the paid way in for the five days of Advanced Access. The install guide has the pack contents and how to get the game on each launcher.
Regions and servers
NC's April announcement listed four server regions: North America, South America, Europe and Japan. The launch server list now splits them into five choices you pick from when you start the game:

Each server holds one faction, and each Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian one for the Abyss and other cross-faction content. The server choice guide lists every server and explains transfers.

To switch, open Settings with the gear icon at the top right and choose the language tab.
Global, Korean and Taiwanese versions
Aion 2 launched in Korea and Taiwan before the global release, and many creator guides were recorded there. NC's Launch FAQ is clear that progress from those versions does not carry over to the global version.
Corpus describes the global game only. Systems, balance changes and content that exist only in Korea are left out of our guides.
