Launch and access
When does Aion 2 come out globally?
5 October 2026, at 06:00 PDT (13:00 UTC). Founder's Pack owners played early from 30 September to 4 October. Full timeline: release date and regions.
Is Aion 2 free to play?
Yes. NC sells an optional monthly membership, a Battle Pass and cosmetics. See what it costs.
Is Aion 2 on mobile, console, Linux or Steam Deck?
Windows PC only, on Steam and PURPLE. Other devices and controllers may work but are not officially supported. See platforms.

How do I get more FPS in big fights?
Turn on Identical Player Appearance and lower Mass Combat Quality and Player Particle Effect Display. See settings for crowds.
Servers
Which server should I pick?
The region closest to you: Europe, NA West, NA East, Latin America or Asia. Keep all your characters on one server. See how to pick a server.
Can I play with friends on a different server?
In dungeons and other instanced content, yes. Open-world play stays on your own server. See playing with friends.
Can I transfer servers?
From 14 October 2026, within the same faction, free at first. Advanced Access characters can only move to other Advanced Access servers. See server transfers.

Which class is best for PvP?
No creator names one best PvP class for global yet. For 1v1 they most often name Assassin, Gladiator and Templar; for big Abyss fights, the ranged classes. See best PvP class.
I have high ping. What should I avoid?
Anders advises against Assassin, whose burst window is tight. SywoGG suggests Cleric, Chanter or Spiritmaster. See recommendations by situation.
